RN Intake Supervisor


The Intake Supervisory position oversees Intake RNs who are predominantly in the field, being available to them in real-time to problem solve and answer questions about findings in the home. The Intake Supervisor is responsible for monitoring RN schedules, productivity, and quality of paperwork submissions, and determining when individuals are appropriate for membership. This position is also responsible for training new Intake RNs and continuing education that affects work flows due to regulatory demands, maintaining up-to-date training documents. Intake Supervisors facilitate regular monthly meetings with Intake RNs, preparing agendas and materials as needed. Intake Supervisors also oversee the non-clinical Intake Representatives who work closely with Intake RNs scheduling the in-home visits.



Review RN paperwork for quality and consistency
Communicate with RNs as needed regarding paperwork, re-educate as needed
Take calls from RNs in the field, problem solve in real-time
Liaison between Enrollment and Intake/ Marketing and Intake regarding Enrollment submissions
Train Intake RNs and Representatives, both new employee trainings as well as regular audits/evaluations
Assist with creation of education materials, remaining up-to-date on regulations
Produce reports as needed, monitoring database entries for accuracy and clean up as needed
Work with IT department on database improvements that gain departmental efficiencies
Other duties as needed



Education and Experience:

Education Required: Registered Nursing License

Required:   Minimum 1-2 years MLTCP experience, with supervisory leadership skills and ability to own and complete projects independently from start to finish

Preferred:   Overall understanding of community-based care programs

Required:    Case Trakker, Excel, Power Point, Word



Required:   Registered Nursing License


Knowledge and Skills:

Solid clinical judgment and ability to problem solve in real-time
Knowledge of MLTCP regulations
Works well with various personalities and work styles
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meets deadlines
Ability to lead, communicate clearly, teach well, offer professional support, and take ownership of assigned projects, completing them successfully
